Who we are

Industrial Observability is a trading name of The Melt Cafe Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 09912074. We are the data controller for information you send us through this site.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, company, email address, role, the number of sites you operate, the equipment types you select, and anything you write in the message field.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your enquiry. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you chose to send us.

We only add you to our mailing list if you tick the box on the enquiry form, and the lawful basis for that is your consent. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Who processes it

Enquiries are stored in Transpond and Capsule — the email platform and the CRM, both operated by Zestia Ltd, which acts as our data processor. Nothing is passed to anyone else.

How long we keep it

For as long as the enquiry is live, and afterwards only where we have an ongoing commercial relationship. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
